Ruby is amazing!

I wanted to say thank you and give you an update on how our elkhound pup which we named Ruby is doing. I apologize in taking so long to write to you but we have been busy thoroughly enjoying Ruby’s companionship.
Firstly, we are grateful that we found you and you were accommodating and welcomed us to your farm to meet you and your elkhound pack. Thank you for allowing us to bring Ruby home on short notice this December. (read more…)

She is healthy, alert, attentive, smart and gentle. She has learned in such a short time how to adjust and fit in at our home. We have elderly cats who she warmed up to and quickly learned which ones she can play with and “herd” and which to just leave alone. She particularly warmed up to our 17 year old rescue cat named Eddie and she will sometimes curl up in his bed with him.

She has learned how to walk along the forest trails with a harness and leash and likes to meet people and other dogs along the way. She enjoys playing in our backyard with our friends dogs. Our children love her dearly. She has also spent time at work with Jamie hanging out with our clients. She is loved.
We thank you and we know we are truly blessed to have Ruby in our lives.
I have many photos of her and I am happy to share them with you if you like. She is a good looking girl!

She’s amazing and so smart and we couldn’t be happier. She is so very happy and constantly wags her tail and loves attention.

Sincerely,
Catherine and Jamie
